Beware of HR 5924, this bill is planning to set aside 20k EB3 visa's for nurses instead of the current 10K. If EB3 folks loose focus and fail to push for recapture bill and somehow HR 5924 is passed. EB3 will be doomed.
Getting HR 5882 / S 3414 (recapture bills) through congress is the only hope for EB3's.
Changing the spillover will not help EBI because in both the spillover interpretations EB3I is the last in the chain. The only reason EB3I benefited from earlier spillover interpretations was because there weren't any ripe EB2-I cases available and it spilled over to EB3I. I have no problems working for millionaires and billionaires but because of government apathy most of the big corporations are scared of hiring people on H1B ( to be specific on their own h1b) When I went to school in Kentucky which is not very industrialized state we had Toyota, Lexmark as top companies in our area but both did not want to sponsor H1B. The only way you can work with them is by joining some small time consulting firm and working as contractor. Else these guys just outsource their development to TCS/ Wipro folks. So the billionaire business man gets hsi work done from offshore place and qualified people start to move to IT jobs and code in java or dotnet.

Most of the self made millionaires rockstarted young when they had the drive and desire. I still say America gains more than what they lose by delaying GC process. If they hand out GCs faster then who will work for those millionaires and billionaires?.

This should answer MOST of the people's questions about this tax stimulus plan. Single (or) Married, have SSN or ITIN, you can find the answers by reading the following. (Cut/pasted from IRS website).

My Eb2 Perm Labor Approved. It took 2 months to get approved. It was filed on 07/09/2010 and approved on (email received by HR dept) 09/10/2010. This is just to share with all of you.

They are bullsxxting themselves and everyone else. I am amazed..!! These committee members dont have a clue of what they are hearing about. Mixing GCs with H1-B. This issue is always a killer and more inportantly not even related to issue at hand..!!

They are wasting EB visas every year giving reasoning they were too busy putting up a crying face saying we got bombarded with this application and those applications, they are screwing up our Travel plans by not Issuing AP documents in time, they are screwing our jobs by not issuing our EADs in time. I am telling you the biggest villian in all the mess we are in is USCIS and you are telling me there's no point to discuss this ??????

Irrespective of the employer decision to revoke I140 or not, I have to send AC21 letters to USCIS. That is the reason I am asking anyone to suggest a good attorney for representation.
Not to scare you but you sure your current employer will not revoke 140, look at the recent experiences from people.

i seriously doubt uscis will be slow in ead applications atleast not more than 6 mths. Reason:
1. there will be 500,000 applicants that will become out of status and uscis will be in news again
2. it helps them to get the $340 from you forever
So they will hire contractors to issues this.

I just wanted to bring it to the table...I think all of us have the right to voice our opinion & looks like we all have in the case. Now it should be upto the IV to take it or leave it. Kudos to USCIS though for keeping themselves employed. They have made such a mess of what could be a simple immigration planning process, by introducing layers upon layers of groupings, arbitrary allocation number limits and what not. A similar but perhaps even more complicated rocket science mess exists in another govt entity - the IRS.

I was in same dellima couple of months before. I was working as a permanent employee in USA but company was not doing good. My PD is feb 08 in EB-2. I weighted all options and decided to move back. Tried in couple of places and within 3 months got a good offer. Now working with world top 10 employer at bangalore as a Project Manager since Nov 09.
I am happy with my decision as of now.
I suggest its not worth waiting 10 years for GC. Life is more to be lived than to wait for GC.

I have home loan with Standard Chartered. Got the variable interest loan from them in 2004. One thing I liked is I did not have to goto India for the loan processing!
My brother sent related documents here in US and I signed, got few of those notarised and sent them back. It took about a month for the complete process.
They do charge about Rs. 350 for prepayment though. Otherwise overall I am happy with the service they provided.
