Is it true that people who have applied in march are screwed....as per on blog website.....March applications are on hold....they have divided the applications in two batches
1. Jan thru March
2. April thru June
if its tru its bad news for we march guys

Thank you for your response. Are you saying that we can take a chance by just sending the letter which includes details such as A#, receipt numbers etc; without completed DHS Form 7001. This sounds to be good plan, where employer is not supporting. However., the only catch is, if employer knows about this later, it doesn't look good.
Please correct me , if I'm wrong about understanding yout statement.

Point is, let us stop playing permutation politics and focus on what matters most... but I guess it is hard to ask folks to forget their inborn / bred selfish nature and myopic world views...

Since most of the crowd will file 485 now and will get EAD, I was wondering, if IV will still be putting efforts to make the PD current, or to get the option of filing 485 even if PD is not current?
This will help those -
1. who are stuck in BEC and could not file 485
2. who changed jobs after seeing no movement in PD for months, and labor is not yet filed or approved by new employer.
I am one of them.. and was wondering if there are chances of getting EAD for us. Or we will be employer dependent always.. until .. forever...

Received this e-mail from Tom Davis (Virginia congressman for where I live) today (Monday, July 9, 2007). Plan to reply by tomorrow mentioning it is not about "individual redress" rather a wrong imposed by USCIS/DOS on the legal-patiently waiting-community of immigrants. Any suggestions welcome.

I have asked a few of my friends to call the list too. And I did another round of calling Tier 1 republicans only. It was pretty much the same response as the last time. I think that is their standard way of answering, - to sit on the fence.
Unless these issues are being discussed and called to vote, they will pander to whoever is talking. But, I think we still need to put continued pressure on them, hence the friends :)

its been stuck at 2001 for so many years , except for 2007 july bulletin fiasco.
with the way things are , it can take 10 more years for EB3 to even get to 2005. Lets try and push for something which works in this country.

They most of the approvals are of US Master degree and above as it is straight fwd EB2 no need to verify skill set etc..
My wife and I, we both have MS from US unversities....I think that's straight forward!!! But still waiting....:(

So what are trying to prove ? Generally i dont respond but this just shows that you have a lot of time. Why dampen people's spirits by such post or why try to say that whatever IV has done is a waste. That is what i get from what you have posted. If you are cynical, keep it to your own self, dont start such negative threads. Dont know you and this is not a personal attack but think twice before you create such posts, because they are disheartening for many (including me) who are so frustrated that they can believe any thing negative. Chill out and let us enjoy the moment why we have it, if things change over the period, we are fighters, we will survive but dont add to our problems by your predictions and logic (which might be right to start with but do we tell cancer patients that they are going to die on such and such date).

i believe the way it is going to proceed is if they don't have time to discuss everything they will discuss the rest in the senate floor. however if the conflicting ones like illegal aliens one, enforcement ones are resolved then this bill might go to the floor and the remaining ones would be discussed. hence if till tile 3 is over then this bill might be considered for vote on teh senate floor. this is my understnading based on what i heard.
