The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted today to scrap the controversial REAL ID law which will require states to begin implementing tough new standardized technology requirements for drivers licenses in just a few months. A number of states have rebelled against the requirements and they risk their licenses not being accepted for federal purposes - including boarding airplanes. The measure that passed today is called the PASS ID bill and would extend deadlines and provide more government funds to help in the transition. 1. When I apply for a new H1B after 1 year break, does the H1B comes under the quota or will it be considered on previously held H1B quota.
It will be counted in the quota
2. How sure about getting approval of H1B.
Well, if you have a job offer for which you qualify and all relevant supporting documents, I dont see why you wont get the approval.

I may be ignorant here but why do you have 2 I-94s? Your I94 is invalid once you leave the country. So I would think the number on the latest and current I94 is the number you would use.

Hellow,
I have a quick question. My I140 got approved in sep'08. Should I have to wait till PD gets current or I can file for I485 and USCIS will process my application according to my PD?
Any responce will be highly appreciated.

Hey vibedesign,
Create and animate the text that you wish to have "wireframed" in Swift 3D. When exporting the SWF, make sure you select the No Fill option. Consequently, make sure you select the Outline option with Entire Mesh or another setting selected! That should export your animation without the fill but with the outlines instead. That will look like a wireframe text effect!

Good question. I'm not sure if the two-year home residency requirement applies to tourist visas.
But if your J-1 program isn't subject to the two year residency requirement, I don't see why there would be a problem.

My company applied for my 140 (Substitute) in Premium processing (before it was stopped) and I recieved an RFE for ability to pay. Company took sometime & responded with Tax returns.
Online status says, response to RFE recieved and the processing resumed. Since mine is a PP, I epxected the result in 15 days...but its more than a month...
So I contacted my employer & he says USCIS asked for "Audited Financial statement". But online status did not change. (Still says, we recieved your response & case processing is resumed).
Is it possible that USCIS just asks for more information in reponse to RFE but still does not update the status?? What I don't understand is - normally USCIS Deny the app if they are not OK with my employer's initial response is n't it? how are they coming back & asking for more & more information??
I am confused!! Please throw light if you know more details...

Illegal non-immigrants did the rally to local USCIS offices. It would be good if we pick one day in 2nd week of July and have a rally to local USCIS offices. This will immediately catch the media attention.

I did send my wife's and my daughter's RFE in one package. But have separate cover lettter and folder. One packet is enough, clearly distiguish between two set of papers.
My wife and I got RFE on medical. Now I am sending response to RFE. Do I need to send the RFE response individually by FEDEX or Can I send both of us responses in one FEDEX package? Please advise. Thanks.

Don't know if it will help anybody since i'm a June filer. I didn't file EAD along with AOS in June, but on July 11th i filed EAD with 485 RN. My check got cashed on the 13th and got the receipt# from the back. The case status says they received the application on 12th. I haven't got the Receipt notice yet though. I did write I-765 on the package.
